Getting To and From Tampa International Airport
We recommend using the taxi service at Tampa International Airport to get to your hotel. A cab is typically $20-25.00 from the airport to your downtown hotel.. If you are staying at the Howard Johnson Plaza, the hotel does have a shuttle that runs between the hotel and the airport. Advance reservations are required and the fee is $13.00 each way (rate subject to change). Tampa International Airport also offers shared ride services and has many rental car agencies available for your convenience. On average, it takes 20-25 minutes to get to downtown Tampa from the airport depending on the mode of travel and traffic conditions
Getting Around Downtown Tampa
Once you are downtown enjoying the conference, there is much to do in downtown Tampa within walking distance. Hopefully, we will be enjoying warm temperatures in January. Please see information on our local downtown restaurants that are within walking distance from your hotels and the performing arts center.
The Courtyard Marriott and Residence Inn Downtown Tampa have a complimentary shuttle which will take you anywhere within a 5-mile radius from the hotel. Please make reservations with the hotel.
Lastly, downtown Tampa offers many bus routes, an in-town trolley and a streetcar. Please see the downtown map for further information for routes and fares.
Cabs are available as well to get you from your hotel to your place of destination. Yellow Cab (813-253-0121) and United Cab (813-253-2424) are available for your service.
