Showcase 2012 Selection Committee
The IPAY Showcase Selection Committee comes together for two days in June every year to review over 100 applications of artists from genres as diverse as theater, musical theater, mime/physical comedy, dance, music, puppetry, opera, and more. The selection committee is comprised of experts in the field of performing arts for youth, including accomplished artists and artistic or programming directors, arts education directors, children's festival directors, and artist managers. Selection Committee members typically serve two three-year terms, and typically ten members serve each year along with the Showcase host. The Showcase host serve only one year, and add their unique knowledge of the facilities to the selection of that year's performers.
