Opportunities for Students

College and graduate students are a critical part of the performing arts for youth community, and IPAY is happy to offer discounts on IPAY membership and Showcase attendance to ensure their participation. Our Jim Rye Scholarship program allows qualified students to become a member for one year and attend our annual conference, all completely free. Students local to the Philadelphia area are eligible to apply for a fall, spring, or summer administrative internship.

Membership

For only $25, students can become a member of International Performing Arts for Youth. Membership includes automatic registration for our "members only" listserve, access to our online job postings, and opportunities to interact with members from across North America and around the world.

Showcase

IPAY is happy to offer discounts to students attending Showcase as an educational pursuit on a case by case basis. Please contact the IPAY office at 267-690-1325 or info@ipayweb.org to discuss your needs. We would be happy to work with you. See our standard Showcase attendance costs.

Jim Rye Scholarship

Jim Rye Scholars are given their Showcase conference fee free and a complimentary year long membership to IPAY. The Jim Rye Scholarship is open to graduate students only. We are looking for young emerging professionals from graduate programs to attend the conference and inspire us all—and do a little work as well.

IPAY Administrative Internship

Interns assist the Administrative Director in all aspects of the administration of the business (marketing, development, financial, and general administrative tasks.) This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to have a hands-on, inside view of how to run a non-profit arts organization. The opportunity is unpaid.
