Host Showcase

PlayhouseSquare's Ohio Theater, Cleveland, Ohio, Showcase 2005, 2007, and 2009 Host
Hosting Showcase brings your organization into the center of the performing arts for youth field and brings valuable international business into your institution. With over 400 delegates providing business for area hotels, restaurants, and other attractions, Showcase also provides valuable economic stimulus to your area, and provides opportunities for you to attract sponsorships and other donations for this high profile event. IPAY considers applications for hosting Showcase that are reflective of regional membership throughout North America.
The application must demonstrate proven ability to attract and provide for at least 400 delegates, 14-18 full-length productions (of varying scale), and 85 exhibit booths (all numbers are approximate based upon prior Showcases). Additionally, the host must be able to provide appropriate staffing including, but not limited to, production, security, operations, box office, front of house, marketing and publicity, and any other staff (paid and volunteer). Further, securing appropriate hotel venue(s) to accommodate all Showcase delegates, preferably at a discounted rate, is vital.
IPAY takes administrative and financial responsibility for Showcase, working in close partnership with the host organization. As an annual conference for over 30 years with regular attendees and performance applicants, IPAY provides the host the experience and resources to plan the event. Working with an organization of IPAY's stature will assuredly raise the significance of performing arts for youth for your board, your staff, and our audiences.
