Michael Holden
Michael Holden has worked in the touring field since 1972, beginning as a
student in the School of Theatre at Ohio University, where he received an
MFA in Directing. After graduation he worked as a director and also produced
the Colorado Chautauqua, a touring fine arts festival. He then became
director of performing arts programs for the Western States Arts federation.
In 1983, Michael and his wife, Theresa, founded Holden & Arts Associates, a
theater and dance booking and management company located in Austin, Texas.
He has served as a board member of NAPAMA and the Western Arts Alliance, and
as a panelist for Arts Midwest, the Arts Partners Program, and various NEA
panels.
